Our teaching approach and curricula engage the imagination and nurture the journey of creative exploration. Our students gain a strong technical foundation in dance as well as the confidence and self-discipline essential to learning the art of dance. Classes are taught by teaching artists who have received significant training, degrees, professional experience, and/or certifications. Live music is an essential component to classes for young children to develop the students’ musicality and to allow for spontaneity and creative freedom. Our state-of-the-art facility is located in downtown Homewood and includes five studios, each with two-way glass observation areas. Our spring performances for dancers enrolled in our September to May 3 year old classes and older are held each May at the Alabama Theatre and are free for family and friends to attend.
