Jennifer’s introduction to dance started in elementary school with her first ballet class. She took dance for 14 years and was a member of her high school dance team for 4 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from LSU as well as a master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from UAB. She taught elementary school for several years before staying home with her 3 daughters. Over the last few years, Jennifer made her way back to the classroom as a preschool teacher. Although teaching has been her career, dance has remained a part of her life. She has taught children’s dance classes at church, been an active participant in dance fitness classes and performances, and turned into a dance mom now that all her girls are taking dance. Jennifer is excited about the opportunity to combine her teaching experience with her love of dance at The Dance Foundation.
