Our mission is to teach the art of dance to all, inspiring creativity, igniting curiosity, and building confidence.
For 50 years, The Dance Foundation has been dancing with Birmingham’s children, encouraging active, creative learning.
Not only do we teach students in our studio classes, but we dance with children all around the community – in childcare centers, schools,
and local organizations who serve children with disabilities and children who are living in poverty or under resourced neighborhoods.
We want everyone learning to dance and learning through dance.
