Our mission:

To teach the art of dance to all, inspiring creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

The Dance Foundation is dedicated to a welcoming, creative approach to teaching dance to everyone. We have been a gathering place to learn to dance and learn through dance for almost 50 years.

Our programs include:

Studio Classes inspire dancers of all ages and abilities, meeting each one where they are and encouraging lifelong exploration and study of dance. Dance Partners takes dance into schools and community organizations to engage and impact students who are very young, have disabilities or learning differences, or need academic support. Space Rental makes space available for artists to teach, rehearse, and perform, reaching their own constituents with the benefits of dance.

Through Studio Classes, Dance Partners, and Space Rental, we widen the circle, expanding ideas about what dance is and who is a dancer so students and audiences can explore and belong. At The Dance Foundation, we believe that dance unites us in our joy and humanity.

“Dance is a celebration of life,
a widening of horizons, an exercise in communication,
an exploration into self-awareness.

Through this discipline all the arts come into focus.
Let us journey together.”
